Programs to support new mothers in the care of their babies are part of our community-based health initiatives.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic still lingered on in 2021, the Adaro Group had to continue implementing the Adaro Berjuang untuk Indonesia program by contributing with resources in terms of funding and participation in government activities for the pandemic handling.
In total, the Adaro Group donated Rp42.2 billion for the COVID-19 handling, under the Adaro Berjuang untuk Indonesia program, to reach not only its own operational areas, but also other regions needing the support, with the hope that Indonesia would soon be freed from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Through the National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) acting as the taskforce coordinator for COVID-19 handling in Indonesia, in 2021, the Adaro Group donated Rp2.75 billion for the operations of 25 ambulances the group donated in 2020 to be used for the COVID-19 patients. Under the collaboration with a number of other companies and the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce (Kadin), the Adaro Group also donated Rp15 billion for the construction of Collaborative Oxygen Home (Rumah Oksigen Gotong Royong) for COVID-19 patients amid oxygen supply scarcity. Further, the group also donated hundreds of oxygen concentrator amounting to Rp12.6 billion and thousands of vitamin packages within the operational areas.
Another important participation for the pandemic handling is the Vaksinasi Gotong Royong (VGR) program to support the government efforts to expedite national vaccination. The Adaro Group provided free vaccines for the communities in six regencies of the operational locations, i.e. yaitu Tabalong, Balangan, Hulu Sungai Utara, Barito Timur, Barito Selatan, and Kotabaru with total cost of Rp11 billion.
