Indonesia raises coal benchmark price for first time in a year in Aug

* The Indonesian government has set its coal benchmark price (HBA) for August at $72.67 per tonne, according to an official document from the Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry

* It is higher than July’s benchmark price of $71.92 and also the first increase in a year, according to Eikon Refinitiv data COAL-HBA-ID

* The HBA is a monthly average of the Argus-Indonesia Coal Index (ICI-1), the Platts Kalimantan 5,900 assessment, the Newcastle Export Index and the globalCOAL Newcastle index from the previous month
